What You Bring to the Table as a CNC Machinist

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience required
• Conventional machining experience preferred
• Experience with machine setup and operation for both manual and CNC equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T concepts
• Strong shop math and measurement skills
• Experience with 2-axis or 5-axis machining preferred
• Forklift or crane certification preferred but not required
• Trade school or equivalent machining experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly without assistance

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes
• Perform complex machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
• Read blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine machining requirements
• Verify dimensions and tolerances of finished parts using inspection tools
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists
• Adjust machine controls to maintain quality and production standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve production problems
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and timekeeping records
• Keep work areas clean and follow all company safety procedures
