Position Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Shared Services Analyst / Accounting Associate I to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will assist with financial data entry, accounts payable and receivable processing, reconciliations, month-end close activities, audit support, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine financial data entry and maintain accurate accounting records within financial systems.
Record transactions and update ledgers to ensure accurate and current financial reporting.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of financial reports and documentation for quarterly and annual tax reporting.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
Support month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Research and analyze discrepancies within financial statements and provide detailed explanations for variances.
Assist internal and external audit activities by providing supporting documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Follow organizational accounting policies, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1+ years of accounting, finance, shared services, or financial operations experience preferred.
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Experience with financial data entry and accounting systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently under moderate supervision in a hybrid work environment.
