Executive Assistant to the Supreme Court (Attorney) State of Connecticut Judicial Branch Hartford – Supreme Court The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Supreme Court. The selected candidate will work in conjunction with the Executive Director for the Appellate System and Appellate System support offices; assist in the management of Supreme Court term and permanent law clerks in the daily performance of their non-judicial duties; may supervise employees in a lower salary grade; conduct orientation and training for Supreme Court term and permanent law clerks; review and screen cases on the Supreme Court docket; draft opinions for the Chief Justice or Associate Justices at the direction of the Chief Justice or Administrative Justice; draft memoranda and review memoranda; assist with scheduling and assignment of cases before and after hearing; assist, prepare and write speeches; perform research, compile and analyze statistical information to produce reports; performs related duties as required. Salary Range: $158,013 - $203,827/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.
