Job Summary

The Senior Marketing Automation Consultant serves as an experienced strategic advisor and subject matter expert in marketing automation, digital strategy, and customer experience. This client-facing role is responsible for leading complex engagements, guiding clients through digital transformation, and delivering measurable outcomes using platforms like Act-On and other digital tools. The senior consultant brings deep expertise in marketing automation, especially with Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), and excels at translating data and insights into actionable strategies. This role requires an expert blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive client success and innovation.



What Your Impact Will Look Like

    Expand and lead complex onboarding and implementation projects for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of the marketing automation platform
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, translating marketing goals into actionable automation strategies using creative solutions from a comprehensive view
  • Design and execute advanced marketing automation programs, including lead scoring, multi-step nurture campaigns, and dynamic segmentation
  • Develop and deliver customized training sessions for clients on advanced platform features and strategic use cases
  • Present strategic insights, performance reports, and optimization plans to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing automation efforts with broader digital marketing strategies
  • Lead initiatives to improve departmental processes, efficiency, and scalability in partnership with the Manager of Marketing Automation
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of internal best practices and training materials
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing automation and digital strategy
  • Contribute to thought leadership through internal documentation, webinars, and client-facing content


You Will Love This Job If You Have

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, digital strategy, and customer experience, preferably in a software/tech or agency environment working with Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) or at a DMO
  • Proven success in a client-facing role with strategic influence and leadership responsibilities
  • Expert knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Act-On preferred) and their integration with CRM systems
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in campaign performance analysis and optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and analytics/tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while contributing to team goals
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong travel and tourism industry knowledge


Pay Range

USD $62,300.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
