**This position will be out of our Temple SC but will support our Waco, Round Rock. Bryan and Kerrville areas as well.**

Primary Duties
Identifies, develops and provides construction cost estimates for natural gas projects.
Develops and communicates construction scope of work documents.
Determines and executes appropriate compensation structure or contract type for natural gas construction projects.
Initiates and administers process of solicitation, evaluation and recommendation of external bids.
Determines, coordinates, and communicates contractor resource assignments for natural gas construction projects.
Coordinates, schedules, and monitors construction activities.
Monitors and communicates project status and acts as a liaison between Gas Engineering and Construction Management and other organizations to assure timely project completion.
Acts as liaison between affected departments and divisions regarding construction contractor issues.
Determines and assures all contractors under consideration meet regulatory and business requirements.
Analyzes workload to forecast construction activities and manpower requirements.
Provides timely information on construction project status including scope of project, resources being utilized, percentage completed and projected schedule.
Initiates and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders through project construction meetings.
Develops and provides reports on construction activities to construction management team.
Maintains current knowledge of availability and skill sets of external resources to perform construction activities.
Performs activities to assure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies.
Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level:
Associates degree with a minimum of four years of construction and/or construction project management experience or related field.
A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) plus a minimum of six years construction and/or construction project management experience or related field.
Project management and construction experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license is required.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Computer Skills:
Proficient personal computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Work management applications are preferred.
Work Conditions:
Works both in indoor and outdoor environments
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
