Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance activities, leads and develops maintenance staff, plans preventive and corrective work through the CMMS, and coordinates outages andCapExprojects. Overall, the role is accountable for safe, reliable, andcosteffectivemaintenance performance that supports plant uptime and production goals.
- Lead and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- Provide daily leadershipofmaintenance operations with a strong focus on safety (Zero Harm), environmental compliance, and plant reliability.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and project maintenance activities using the CMMS.
- Develop and manage short- and long-term maintenance schedules aligned with batch operations and production needs.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other functions to plan and execute outagesandunplanned repairs.
- Work closely with the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure spare parts inventory and maintenance materials areaccurate, available, and aligned with operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes, reliability, and equipment performance.
- Coach, develop, and hold maintenance team members accountable for performance and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory (e.g., OSHA/PSM), and companypolicies and procedures.
- Own and continuously improve the CMMS (eMaint), ensuring data accuracy, effectiveutilization, and alignment with maintenance processes.
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies.
- Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2-year technical degree in a relevant field study is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial environment required
- 3 years of supervisor experiencerequired
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary maintenance setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Proven ability to set priorities, analyze problems, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CMMS (eMaint).
