Position Overview

The Financial Operations Analyst supports the COO by analyzing operational performance across all customer-facing and internal service functions. The role provides actionable insights, identifies operational risks, improves service efficiency, supports strategic planning, and helps leadership make data-driven decisions regarding staffing, customer support quality, implementation effectiveness, and operational scalability.

A strong Financial Operations Analyst helps the COO identify operational problems early, improve scalability, enhance customer experience, optimize staffing, improve productivity, and support sustainable organizational growth.

Essential Duties

  • The analyst must translate operational data into executive decisions, identify emerging risks, improve resource utilization, support scalability, support customer satisfaction, identify operational bottlenecks to strengthen workforce productivity.
  • Software Support Analytics: Analytics include ticket volumes, ticket aging, SLA compliance, escalation trends, response times, mean time to resolution, backlog trends, and support productivity metrics.
  • Customer Support & Client Experience Analytics: Analytics include customer satisfaction trends, Net Promoter Score (NPS), complaint patterns, customer retention indicators, support experience scoring, and identification of at-risk hospitals.
  • Software Installation & Implementation Analytics: Analytics include implementation timelines, budget adherence, go-live success rates, project delays, resource utilization, and post-go-live stabilization metrics.
  • The Financial Operations Analyst serves as the COO's operational intelligence partner by providing:
  • Enterprise operational dashboards
  • Capacity planning models
  • Financial-operational integration analysis
  • Workforce forecasting
  • Operational risk identification
  • Scenario modeling for growth and staffing
  • Strategic resource allocation analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Operations Management, or Data Sciences
  • MBA, MHA, preferred - Preference given to candidates with MBA- MHA
  • 7-10 years of operational analytics experience
  • Healthcare IT or SaaS operations experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and enterprise operations
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite
  • Data visualization and forecasting
  • KPI dashboard development
  • Understanding of CRM, ERP, ticketing, and time keeping systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and HIPAA requirements
  • Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. It's not about passing or failing-it's about understanding fit and setting you up for success.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service. Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations, and teaching. Occasional decision making and independent judgment or action.
  • Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely and will require that employees be on camera for all virtual meetings.
  • The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.
  • Travel is required to support OCHIN's business requirements for go-live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

  • Travel required up to 20% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN

Base Pay Overview

OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
