Guest Service Agent- JLL

What this job involves:

As a Guest Service Agent at JLL supporting Capital One, you'll be the welcoming face that creates extraordinary first and last impressions for associates and visitors alike. This role places you at the heart of the workplace experience, where your warm personality and genuine care for people transform routine interactions into memorable moments. You'll manage front desk operations in high-traffic lobbies, greeting everyone who enters, signing in external visitors, providing wayfinding directions, handling building badge needs, and responding to general inquiries with professionalism and a smile. Beyond the desk, you'll serve as the eyes and ears for the overall workplace experience-conducting building walk-through audits, opening and escalating work orders, assisting with special events, giving site tours, and reporting safety or security concerns. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and this position offers meaningful opportunities to develop your skills in customer service, facilities operations, and event coordination while working within a collaborative culture. At select locations, you'll also support small events including meeting room setup, catering coordination, and first-level AV/IT troubleshooting.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Greet and actively engage with Capital One associates, executives, service partners, and external visitors, creating warm, memorable interactions that set a positive tone for their day

* Sign in external visitors following security protocols, manage building badge requests, and provide wayfinding directions and general information about the facility

* Maintain a visible presence in high-traffic lobby areas, standing for extended periods to ensure immediate assistance and accessibility for anyone entering or exiting the building

* Conduct building walk-through audits, open work orders, escalate service requests, and report safety or security items to ensure seamless operations

* Assist with special events, give site tours, and coordinate with building services to enhance the overall workplace experience

* At select locations, support small events through meeting room setup, catering coordination, first-level AV/IT troubleshooting, attendee assistance, and post-event room reset

* Provide feedback on workplace experience observations to support the mission of creating a memorable work environment for all building occupants

Required qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years of customer service experience in reception, concierge, retail, front desk, or related customer-facing roles

* Comfortable standing for extended periods to provide visible presence and immediate assistance in high-traffic areas

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace with ability to quickly learn visitor management systems and building-specific software

* Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent customer service

* Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, either 7:30am-4:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm shifts

Preferred qualifications:

* Previous experience in corporate office environments, commercial real estate, or workplace services

* Familiarity with visitor management systems, access control platforms, or building management software

* Experience supporting events, including meeting room setup, catering coordination, or basic AV/IT troubleshooting

* Background in hospitality, concierge services, or facilities management

* Demonstrated adaptability in adjusting communication style to meet diverse customer needs and preferences
