Position Title: Pharmacy Technician

Work Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177

Assignment Duration: 3 Months

Work Schedule: The candidate should be able to work the following schedule:



  • Monday to Friday 10 to 7pm CST
  • Training is Monday to Friday 8 to 5pm CST for the first week and 9-6pm the second week
  • Occasional Saturdays 8 to 5pm CST


Work Arrangement: Hybrid (full onsite for training period, then 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician provides support to pharmacists in filling prescriptions for patients. This role ensures accurate and timely medication dispensing while maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction.

Background & Context: This is a data entry role supporting pharmacy operations for The Organization. Candidate must live within reasonable driving distance of 13501 Park Vista Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76177.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently
  • Count, pour, weigh, and label medications
  • Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctor's orders
  • Process insurance claims and collect payment information
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Maintain organized records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients


Qualification & Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy
  • Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred
  • Need to be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and current PTCB or NHA CPhT license in good standing
  • Need good data entry skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Need to be able to come on site daily on time and good attendance


Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable): The technician must be able to come on site for training. 2-3 months. then this is a hybrid role. 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Training is 9 to 6pm and technician must be able to work 11 to 8pm ET / 10 to 7 pm CT every day. Work location/Type: Onsite (13501 Park Vista Blvd Fort Worth TX 76177) Suite 150 during training.
