DESCRIPTION

Front Desk Coordinator will provide superb customer service while ensuring accurate demographic, forms, insurance information is entered into the system. Will collect co-pays, keep patients aware of any delays, and check patients out after their appointment. This person will also coordinate authorizations, scheduling, and messages.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum three (3) years customer service experience and recent admissions/registration experience in a large, complex healthcare setting.

  • Experience with registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.

  • Knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state and private health plans.

  • Must have excellent communication skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Epic scheduling and electronic medical records experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Copay Collections.
  • Epic Telephone calls.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $57,399 - $71,347 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $27.49 - $34.17

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
