NHBB HiTech Division is looking for a 2nd shift supervisor to provide support to our current leadership. This supervisor would be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the assigned grind lines or highbay areas. Develop Key Performance Indicators and other metrics, analyze data to determine root cause and troubleshoot performance issues. This role is important to demonstrate leadership with assigned employees and building professional relationships at all levels to drive collaboration and influence company success.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Convey goals and expectations clearly to assigned team.
  • Proactively provide coaching to ensure employees meeting minimum daily, weekly, and monthly production, quality and safety goals.
  • Drive the safety culture of assigned team, ensuring it is an active consideration in all tasks, and the machinery and equipment is maintained to create safe working conditions.
  • Establish and review key metrics to assess team's performance.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, develop solutions collaboratively with key stakeholders, and drive implementation within assigned area.
  • Assist in the facilitation of planning for personnel, machines, equipment, and purchasing of supplies/raw materials.
  • Oversee assigned production team, including shift staffing, scheduling, task assignment, attendance and performance management, training and professional development.
  • Write and conduct formal performance review sessions with every assigned employee in partnership with Human Resources department.
  • Support company initiatives and rollout of new strategies and improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of bearings and bearing products produced by NHBB.


Education and Experience Required:



  • Associate's degree in business, production management, engineering technology or related discipline. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in a manufacturing organization.


Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching (to inspect or operate machinery).
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time (occasionally).
  • Be able to access and navigate each department of the organizations' facilities.
