In Summary

Sgsco is looking for a highly-organized and agile leader to ensure a positive sgsco client experience in the execution phase of production for key client accounts. The Customer Engagement Manager has a passion for quality, and is capable of leading a team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Account Managers to resolve packaging artwork issues within the supply chain. The Challenge

As a Customer Engagement Manager you will encourage collaboration and develop your team to achieve all key metrics for your client(s)/region. Implementing and adhering to standardized processes to drive operational efficiencies is a passion for you. As your team manages and executes a high volume of projects for global brands, you will identify process improvements and proactively drive optimizations internally while partnering with clients to do the same externally. In this role, creativity in problem-solving and a strong sense of urgency will enable exceptional service and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team



  • Build, develop and lead a successful team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Account Managers
  • Train & coach new hires including the review and approval of new tickets for jobs of high complexity
  • Proactively identify process improvements by providing thought leadership & training to colleagues
  • Partner with the Production Team and Sales Team to ensure



Lead Client Service



  • Deep understanding of various client processes (deliverables, rework) across an array of industries enabling empathy
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of the MySGS pricing matrices
  • Develop, implement and ensure that your team complies to global sgsco operational standards
  • Proactively communicate to the client how they can drive efficiencies to drive further effectiveness in the partnership
  • Lead and manage relationships and communicate artwork issues with client and internal and external stakeholders



Lead Project Management



  • Ensure that your team adheres to project timelines outlined in the Service Level Agreement with customers ensuring "On Time" delivery of work done "Right The First Time"
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with their day-to-day interaction with the sgsco team by delivering an experience that is "Better, Faster and Leaner."
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve with the plant
  • Escalate issues and communicate potential solutions



Drive Results



  • Develop a plan to achieve all key metrics for region/client base including Right the First Time and Fit for Use. Plan would include everything from external customer development to internal talent development.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Production to help them deliver on metrics that they are more focused on such as Revenue, Profit and QI.



Need to Haves



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Some College/Associate's Degree preferred
  • Equivalent of 10+ years of experience in the packaging industry. Ideally multidisciplinary experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $75,125 - $98,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Group benefits currently include a selection of health care plans with prescription drug coverage, dental plan, vision plan, basic and supplemental life insurance, a flexible spending account for medical and dependent care expenses or a health savings account based on plan selection, short/long term disability and 401(k) Savings Plan.
