The Fleet Services Coordinator II is an experienced professional with knowledge of and some experience with the end-to-end management of vehicle processes, ensuring compliance and completion. Responsible for the administration of tracking claims, fleet procurement and leases, fuel purchases, preventive maintenance, retired fleet program and pool vehicle program. Plays an important role in emergency fuel management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, sense of belonging, customer service, and operational excellence.
  • Works closely with the business, internal stakeholders and suppliers; continuously seeking to improve value delivery through a carefully documented framework of Cleco's fleet system.
  • Ensures fleet vehicles are in compliance with local and state rules, as well as applicable corporate policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates acquisition and disposition of vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and accounting.
  • Independently maintains accurate and thorough vehicle documentation, including corporate records related to titles and registrations, as well as maintenance and fueling history.
  • Assists in managing the fleet preventive maintenance program, issuing maintenance orders and ensuring they are fulfilled.
  • Assists in managing the fleet fueling program, tracking volume, pricing, and availability.
  • Assists in the development of vehicle purchase plan, providing reporting and analysis as required.
  • Assists in the generation of reports for vehicle fleet metrics as well as special projects.
  • Performs day-to-day investment recovery efforts and facilitates special investment recovery projects, as needed.
  • Assists with fleet management system optimization and testing.
  • Assists in the execution of fleet electrification and charging infrastructure.
  • Assists in the management of pool vehicles including booking, maintenance and cleanliness of pool fleet.

Qualifications

Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • Secondary/High School Diploma
  • 3-5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Step progression levels based on skill proficiency and scope of job.
  • Strong knowledge of leading fleet management practices
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
  • Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, presenting ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial manner
