The University of Virginia's number one ranked Department of Student Health and Wellness (SHW) provides a comprehensive range of medical, mental health, well-being, and disability support services to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. The University of Virginia's Well-being Services, a unit within the Department of Student Health and Wellness, is seeking a Healthy Relationship and Interpersonal Violence (IPV) Prevention Specialist. This role is designed to empower UVA's undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in achieving their health and wellness goals. The Specialist will plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based and theory-informed initiatives as part of a holistic health promotion strategy focused on fostering lifelong well-being. This role is instrumental in promoting sustainable lifestyle changes and fostering a campus culture of health and well-being. Key Responsibilities Program Planning, Implementation & Evaluation

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $60,000-$63,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. About the Position This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, benefits-eligible position with UVA benefits.The selected candidate will pass a background check and drug screen. This position will not sponsor applicants for work visas now or in the future. The preferred deadline for applications is May 29, 2026. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
