The Sr. Manager DTC Web Development and Maintenance is part of the Digital Marketing Team within the Business Analytics Unit and reports to the Lead, Web Development and Maintenance. This position supports the portfolio of products including the oncology and dermatology franchises. The role collaborates with brand leads, agency partners and all other team members to pull through consumer websites and additional digital assets as a part of the Omnichannel strategy. The primary focus is optimizing project management, improving the website development process and problem solving around efficient web solutions. The DTC Web Development and Maintenance team member plays a pivotal role in campaign planning, project management, and Omnichannel content readiness and pull through.

Essential Functions of the Job(Key responsibilities)

  • Supports the entire DTC commercial portfolio to ensure proper website development and distribution
    • Creates a partnership with Indegene as our website platform partner consultants
    • Manages all aspects of website delivery to ensure timeliness, accuracy and budgets are met for all projects
    • Ensures approach and requirements for multichannel tactical plans are understood and interpreted appropriately to ensure quality delivery and execution
  • Plans, coordinates, communicates status, and manages website tasks with all website development partners
  • Ensures quality assurance for all tagging requirements in coordination with the digital performance team
  • Owns the website development process, is considered the website subject matter expert and reports on the execution of website projects through the website assessment tool
  • Works cross functionally with MOPS, privacy, MLR and additional auxiliary team members on larger website projects such as cookie consent, GEO, or website alt tagging
  • Hosts office hours for agency consultation
  • Primary point of contact for product strategy partners as it relates to web properties
  • Together with the digital performance team, focuses on increasing channel effectiveness and cross channel integration; with specific emphasis on how the channels can be highly integrated to deliver cross-channel customer journeys
  • Independently develops training material and trains all AOR partners on website development process
  • Establishes strong business acumen by building and maintaining disease, market, and product knowledge including clear understanding of brand objectives, goals, campaigns, messages, and strategies
  • Champions an integrated omnichannel tactical plan that is aligned to business objectives, maximizes brand relevance and value

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth understanding of multichannel strategies and tactics; web SME preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing channels and the way each enhances customer relationships.
  • Strong planning, project management and organization skills.
  • Clear and concise communication of multi-pronged problems.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end strategic marketing of pharmaceutical products.
  • Strong understanding of regulations involved with digital marketing pharmaceutical products.
  • Understanding existing Omnichannel platforms and support capabilities with ability to articulate potential usages and limitations to the brands.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting integrated multi-channel marketing strategy for new and existing commercial products.
  • Strong understanding of marketing trends and innovations.
  • Strong understanding of web applications, asset management, and tagging.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Omnichannel and Digital Marketing.
