Job Summary:
The AV (Audio Visual) Tech II position for the Wisconsin Union at UW-Madison is responsible for ensuring AV equipment is available, functioning, set up and maintained for in-person and virtual events. This position interacts with and supports a range of clients including UW-Madison and affiliated organizations as well as non-profit and for-profit entities. Outside of supporting scheduled events, this position performs routine maintenance, repair, and upgrades to the AV and IT equipment used in the support of events. Work Schedule and Location: Monday Thru Friday 8 am to 4 pm, with shifting in both hours and days based on events such as Badger Bash. Primary Location is Union South, 1308 W Dayton Street, Madison WI 53715 Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds occasionally needed Key Job Responsibilities:
