Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Dewberry has an excellent career opportunity available for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in our Charlotte, NC office to join our growing Water Group with a focus on municipal or industrial treatment design. The Project Manager will have technical and project management responsibilities to lead water / wastewater design projects for municipal and private clients. This person will manage and leverage client relationships to position Dewberry to perform large and complex water/wastewater projects. The Project Manager will work as a peer with other water/wastewater practitioners throughout North Carolina to provide technical expertise to a range of projects.

Coordinating a multi-disciplined project design team.
• Managing project scope and budget.
• Preparation of engineering reports.
• Pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects.
• Developing opinions of probable project cost.
• Providing construction phase engineering services

• B.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering is required.
• 6+ years' experience with increasing levels of project management and client responsibilities.
• PE license preferred or eligibility to obtain license with 1 year of employment.
• Experience working with multi-disciplined design team.
• Experience in development of design documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
