As a Security Officer Access Control in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor activity to support a secure environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will stay visible, assist with security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and document arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity according to post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, delivery zones, and other security-related conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
