Description Job Title: Service & Maintenance Technician Location: North Kingstown, RI Employment Type: Temp (12 months) Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $30.00 /hr. Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. About the Opportunity: We are recruiting for a Service and Maintenance Technician, who includes Lifting and Transport Equipment, to join our Tools Equipment Management Warehouse within SGRE. We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to work in a friendly team environment, responsible for inspecting, registering, and maintaining lifting equipment, while performing essential servicing, repairs, and electrical safety tests to the manufacturer's specifications. This is a varied role where thorough training will be provided to the successful candidate. We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of delivering inspection and maintenance in a service environment. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Inspection and registration of existing/new lifting equipment. Perform document maintenance, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems. Periodical service of lifting equipment Ensure the safety of yourself and others within HSE best practice. Electrical Safety Tests. Be a part of a 24/7 on-call service from the department. Assemble & disassemble transport equipment. Be a part of the one-stop shop team. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in mechanics, including hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical. 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, including breakdown support, fault finding, repair, and process improvement. What Sets You Apart: You must work well as part of a team and as an individual, as there will be an expectation to become self-sufficient and manage your daily activities. Have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with other colleagues, supervisors, managers, and departments. Can demonstrate the ability to read/understand procedures/specifications/ drawings/sketches/diagrams. PC literate and able to use MS Office applications.
