About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Designer with experience in handbags or accessories to help bring product concepts to life through detailed technical execution. This role partners closely with design, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet brand standards for quality, functionality, and construction.

What You Will Do



  • Translate design concepts into detailed tech packs and production-ready specifications
  • Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and development documentation
  • Review prototypes, samples, and pre-production units, providing clear and actionable feedback
  • Ensure design intent, functionality, and durability across handbag products (e.g., structure, closures, strap design)
  • Partner with factories and vendors to resolve technical issues and clarify construction details
  • Support product development timelines and ensure readiness for production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and sourcing teams


What You Bring



  • Experience in technical design for handbags, accessories, or soft goods
  • Strong understanding of handbag construction, materials, and hardware
  • Proven ability to create detailed tech packs and manage product specifications
  • Experience reviewing samples and driving product improvements through development stages
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with small leather goods or related accessories categories
  • Familiarity with PLM systems or similar product management tools
  • Experience working with global manufacturing partners
