What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting notable activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and/or property concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required by site policies, and assist with directing authorized individuals throughout the location.
• Support property operations by communicating with tenants, contractors, and building personnel regarding security-related concerns, alarms, disturbances, and/or after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
