An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Senior Payroll & HRIS Analyst in the Pittsburgh, PA office.


This exciting opportunity is in a high growth environment where you will utilize your analytical and administrative skills conduct post-relocation surveys by phone and online to gather feedback on the comprehensive mobility experience.


Responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing, as well as ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of HR and payroll data across systems. Executes payroll, reporting, auditing, and compliance management (tax, audit, data, reporting).



Payroll Processing & Administration



  • Executes end-to-end biweekly payroll processing on a regular cycle ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Reviews and validates payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, timekeeping, bonuses, and deductions
  • Reconciles payroll prior to processing, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues
  • Ensures accurate calculation and remittance of taxes, garnishments, and other withholdings
  • Manages off-cycle payrolls, adjustments, and corrections as needed
  • Partners with Finance on payroll funding, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations


HRIS & Data Management



  • Maintains and validates employee and payroll data within HRIS and payroll systems
  • Supports system updates, enhancements, and integrations related to payroll and HR processes
  • Investigates and resolves data discrepancies and system issues in collaboration with stakeholders and vendors


Reporting & Analytics



  • Develops and delivers recurring and ad hoc HR and payroll reports
  • Analyzes payroll and workforce data to identify trends, variances, and risks
  • Supports leadership reporting needs related to compensation, headcount, and workforce planning


Payroll Compliance & Auditing



  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including wage and hour laws and tax requirements
  • Performs routine audits of payroll transactions, system controls, and reporting outputs
  • Supports internal and external audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiries


  • Manages payroll tax processing through third party vendor. Investigates and resolves all discrepancies and registers for tax accounts in new jurisdictions as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure payroll processes and systems remain compliant



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in payroll processing, HRIS, reporting, or compliance
  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations, including multistate processing and tax requirements
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Dayforce)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities


  • Payroll certification (FPC/CPP)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a cyclical processing environment
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive data
