| Posting Summary |
A Post-Doctoral Associate position is now open in the McGinty lab in the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (
CMBN) at Rutgers University. Our lab studies how the brain organizes value-based decision-making and other motivated behaviors. We are seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral scientist to conduct
NIH-funded research on the neural computations that underlie decision-making, with a focus on the prefrontal cortex and limbic system. In addition to scientific training, our lab offers supportive mentorship and intensive career development. Primary techniques include nonhuman primate behavior, high-channel-count neural recordings, intracranial microstimulation, and state-of-the-art machine-learning analyses and modeling. Primate experience is not necessary, but familiarity with neural recording, data analysis, or modeling is strongly recommended. For more information on our work, see McGinty & Lupkin 2023 (Nature Neuroscience) and Lupkin & McGinty 2023 (eLife). Anticipated Start Date: January 1, 2027. |
