Summary


Reports to the Senior Director, Finance, and is responsible for managing assignments associated with the financial performance of Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. This person will serve as the primary liaison for budgeting, variance analysis, cost accounting, financial accounting, decision support projects, and other functions as assigned.




Education:




  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA/MHA and/or CPA (preferred)




Work Experience: Requires general knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles, operating expense and capital budgeting, and annual operating plan development as would be obtained from 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience. Experience in a hospital or physician group practice preferred.

Requires a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, cost accounting procedures, and systems; high levels of proficiency in finance/accounting. Experience with Hospital/Physician reimbursement practices preferred.

Requires a high-level working knowledge of Microsoft Access and other PC-based software/database applications to manipulate and analyze available data. A working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Salary Range: $34.41/hour - $56.82/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
