Hybrid, 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Systems Engineer Manager Opportunity: Our client is searching for an IT leader to come in and manage a team of 20+ systems engineers inside a large regional healthcare organization. Day to day responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to, driving the direction of the team, accessing workload and delegating tasks to team members, performance reviews of team members, project planning, budget planning, budget execution, presentations, meeting with stakeholders, collaborating with other leaders across IT, vendor relations, and resource management. The person for this role will have experience managing environments across a large enterprise organization related to but not limited to server support, imaging, virtualization, desktops, printer systems, Microsoft, end point management, device management, epic (EHR) server management (bonus), etc. Top Skills Details * Experience as a leader with a primary focus in the systems engineering space. This person will be leading a team of 10+ engineers * Must have knowledge in day-to-day operations for an enterprise organization in relation to server support, imaging, virtualization, desktops, printer systems, Microsoft, end point management, device management, EHR server management, etc. * Must have experience managing IT personnel, tracking progress of large project initiatives, assigning tasks to team members or having a clean process and flow around how to make sure tasks are assigned and completed timely, vendor relations experience, budget tracking, etc. * Nice to have: Epic ECSA certification, experience managing ECSA, or experience in the past as an ECSA. This is a hybrid role and will be required to go on-site roughly 3 times per year for leadership meetings, major projects, etc. Because of this, candidates must live within 2 hours of Johnson City, TN. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson City, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
