Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology) delivers high-quality patient care under physician supervision across clinic and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Provide clinic-based care and follow-up appointments in Ardmore and outreach locations
  • Conduct hospital rounding, consults, admissions (H&P), and discharge summaries
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Oklahoma
  • National certification (AG-ACNP or Acute Care preferred)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience in cardiology or acute care strongly preferred
