A Day in the Life of the Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy, Product & Process:

The Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy, Product, and Pricing provides strategic leadership for Astound Business Solutions' commercial product portfolio, including product development, commercialization, lifecycle management, and operational execution. This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, margin expansion, portfolio performance, and scalable execution.

This role oversees the Product Management and Project Management teams and leads product strategy, market- and customer-informed prioritization, portfolio investment decisions, and cross-functional execution across sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and operations. The SVP also leads organizational change, adoption of modern tools, and data-driven decision-making to improve speed, clarity, and commercial effectiveness.

  • Lead product strategy, vision, and roadmap execution aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunity.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring offers are commercially viable, operationally scalable, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership and sales engineering organizations to translate product strategy into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Lead commercialization and launch readiness with marketing, sales, engineering, and operations, including positioning, messaging, field enablement, rollout planning, and adoption tracking.
  • Monitor product performance and key performance indicators, analyze results, and refine strategies to improve revenue growth, margin performance, adoption, retention, and portfolio profitability.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable operating models, processes (including documentation), and governance that support growth, improve execution, and strengthen commercial performance.
  • Lead the development and implementation of quarterly pricing and discount methodologies for each business channel to support new sales.
  • Own market, competitive, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, inform roadmap and pricing decisions, and improve retention and customer value.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and cost optimization.
  • Lead the teams that support product strategy and project management, ensuring consistent execution and accountability.
  • Drive change management, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the commercial organization to accelerate adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Lead process improvements that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee project management and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support execution and business outcomes.
  • Prioritize product and commercial investments across the portfolio based on market opportunity, customer needs, strategic fit, implementation complexity, and financial return.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for product and project management teams.
  • Lead integration initiatives related to acquisitions, ensuring alignment across systems, processes, and teams.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities, including performance management, workload distribution, employee development, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Demonstrated ability to translate market, customer, and business insights into product strategy, prioritized roadmaps, and clear business requirements that drive measurable results.
  • Proven ability to independently lead and deliver integration initiatives from inception through completion.
  • Strong ability to lead commercialization and launch readiness across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, including enablement, adoption planning, and post-launch optimization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • High degree of discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify growth opportunities, support execution, and balance strategic priorities with financial and operational realities.
  • Strong bias for action.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while leading change, influencing across a matrixed organization, and driving alignment through ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Selfaware and intellectually curious, with the maturity to balance a sense of humor with accountability to the team, our products, and our customers.
  • Strong systems and data fluency, including experience with project management platforms, CRM, CPQ, reporting and analytics tools, automation platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AI-powered productivity tools. Ability to use data and modern systems to improve prioritization, pricing, execution, and decision-making.
  • Ability to adhere to Local and Federal regulations, as well as Company policies.
Requirements & Qualifications Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
  • Experience leading Commercial product and process management functions at an executive level in a complex business environment.
  • A minimum of ten years of senior leadership experience in product, pricing, commercialization, strategy, and/or operational leadership roles, preferably within telecom, connectivity, managed services, SaaS, or other B2B recurring-revenue environments.

Base Salary:The base salary range for this position is $230,000- $330,000annually, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay rangerepresentsthe low and high end of the hiring range for this job.Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based onvarious factorsincluding but notlimited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
