Position Summary The Carlson Impact Lab trains undergraduate students in creative problem-solving and delivers socially impactful, course-based experiential projects. The Impact Lab courses expose students to diverse perspectives and equip them with critical problem-solving abilities from their first year. More details are available at z.umn.edu/ImpactLab. Impact Lab: Problem Solving - Students learn strategies to identify, understand, and solve real-world problems through case studies, simulations, and a clear problem-solving framework. They develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and creative solution development. Impact Lab: In Action - Student teams partner with businesses, nonprofits, or social enterprises to solve actual challenges, gaining experience navigating ambiguity while making a tangible impact. As a Senior Lecturer in the Carlson Impact Lab, you will play a vital role in developing students' problem-solving prowess. We seek a dynamic, innovative educator passionate about teaching methodologies that inspire inquiry and creativity. This is a non-tenure track Academic Professional/Administrative position for a nine-month academic year. Subsequent renewals, if any, will be on a nine-month academic calendar, dependent upon annual performance reviews and funding availability. Duties & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants with substantial University-level teaching experience and demonstrated success in teaching at the Carlson School or peer institutions. Ideal candidates will also have relevant industry experience in startups, consulting, project management, or other fields using problem-solving to navigate ambiguous projects.
Pay and Benefits
