Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to expand our presence within the Retail and multi-site sectors, including quick-service restaurants (QSRs), convenience stores, fueling stations, restaurant brands, big-box retailers, and franchise operators. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through existing industry relationships and new business development efforts across EBI's service lines. The ideal candidate brings a strong network along with a proven track record of consultative sales in a professional services environment.

This position may be based anywhere in the United States, with preference given to candidates located in major metropolitan markets. Travel is expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to high-value retail clients, including national and regional brands and multi-site portfolio owners


  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads


  • Leverage an existing, active book of business to drive immediate growth across EBI's service lines


  • Manage a complex sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Analyze market trends and competition to develop sales strategies
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and client feedback to management
  • Continuously build knowledge and expertise in the industry and our services
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.



Qualifications and Capabilities



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction or similar field


  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven professional experience selling solutions or services to retail organizations, such as specialty retail, big box, grocery, convenience, or omnichannel retailers


  • Proven track record of sales success and meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
  • Ability to prospect new sales opportunities and build a pipeline of potential clients
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to clients
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Experience in market research and analysis to inform sales strategies and stay informed on industry trends
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with CRM and lead management software, such as Salesforce or Hubspot

The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
