Scope of Position: The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of donors and actively contributing to the Boise Corps' annual fundraising goal of a minimum of $500,000. Working in partnership with the Community Engagement & Development Director and coordinating with Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) Development staff, this role focuses on donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and data-driven relationship management to advance individual and corporate giving. This position is ideal for a relationship-oriented fundraising professional who is motivated by revenue goals, enjoys donor engagement, and is committed to advancing mission impact through philanthropy. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Must be congenial and maintain professionalism under all circumstances Must be proficient at Microsoft office. Must be organized and be able to work under multiple deadlines - distributing workflow to maintain optimal efficiency. Must be able to pass MV check and have a valid Driver's license Must be able to pass Salvation Army background check Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to stand, sit, twist and stretch on a regular basis MISCELLANEOUS: The Salvation Army does have a dress code.
