What You'll Do:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including substations, switchgears, circuit breakers, transformers, VFDs, and motor starters.
- Execute high-voltage switching operations in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols.
- Support electrical infrastructure upgrades, system expansions, breaker replacements, and equipment commissioning activities.
- Diagnose equipment failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and operations teams to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
- Adhere to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety standards during all electrical work.
What You'll Bring:
- Associate Degree in Electrical Technology.
- Minimum OSHA and NFPA training needed.
- 3+ years of experience working with high-voltage electrical systems.
- 3+ years of experience with high-voltage switching, LOTO procedures, and energized work practices.
What Sets You Apart:
- The ideal candidate is skilled in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of medium- (480V and 208/120V) and high- (480V-13.2 kV) voltage equipment and is committed to maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and protective systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance.
