Part-time 64 hours pay period | Pastoral Care Lead

Schedule:

This position offers a flexible schedule, with Sunday availability required to support worship services.

Pay Range: $26.62 - $36.14 per hour (based on experience)

Education Preferred:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theology, Pastoral Studies, Divinity, or related field
  2. Completion of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
  3. Equivalent pastoral ministry experience may be considered.

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Provide spiritual care, guidance, and compassionate presence to residents, families, and team members within a Continuum of Care community
  2. Walk alongside individuals in their faith journey, offering support during times of transition, illness, hospice, palliative care, and cognitive decline
  3. Serve as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing to holistic, person-centered care
  4. Assess spiritual needs and provide counseling, prayer, and supportive interventions that promote comfort, dignity, and peace
  5. Facilitate worship services, spiritual programming, and meaningful moments that enhance quality of life
  6. Offer support to residents, families, and staff experiencing grief, stress, or emotional distress
  7. Foster a warm, welcoming environment that reflects compassion, service, and faith-centered values
  8. Maintain appropriate documentation and collaborate effectively with clinical and leadership teams

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theology, Pastoral Studies, Divinity, or related field
  2. Completion of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
  3. Equivalent pastoral ministry experience may be considered.

Experience Preferred:

  1. Five or more years of pastoral ministry experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospice, or long-term care setting
  2. Experience supporting individuals in hospice, palliative care, memory care, or acute care environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support individuals experiencing distress or anxiety
  2. Excellent counseling and communication skills
  3. Ability to assess spiritual needs and provide thoughtful, individualized support
  4. Demonstrated compassion and commitment to serving those facing illness, grief, or life transitions
  5. Commitment to excellence in service, demonstrating kindness, warmth, and integrity
  6. Comfort leading prayer, worship, and spiritual reflection
  7. Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
