Responsibilities: The position specializes skills and experience to lead and provide consulting on wellness strategy as well as advise and support on the design and delivery of key events. Primary activities and decision-making affect business operations and client satisfaction to a substantial degree.
- Leads the implementation and coordination of all components of wellness programming and services for assigned clients.
- Leads initial meetings with targeted clients to assess the groups understanding of and readiness to commit to a strategic plan to develop and implement a successful, sustainable wellness program.
- Advises clients on the benefits of a well-being culture and implementation strategies to achieve their goals.
- Builds strong relationships with key client representatives and internal cross-departmental team members.
- Serves as experienced resource and specialist in event planning, coordination, execution. Provides consulting to coordinators and overall wellness team on key events. Oversees, designs, and helps coordinate and execute key events including health fairs and on-site screenings.
- Researches and maintains knowledge of wellness trends and integrates best practices into programs. Develops a network of resources and contacts to explore ideas and innovations.
- Works with clients to target, track, and document various initiatives to create reference documents and benchmarks on accomplishments and goals met within the context of the clients strategic plan.
- Serves as an experienced resource for other coordinators on how to drive and maintain strategy and implementation plans for their clients.
- Guides and reviews the creation and maintenance of project documentation including flow charts, templates, presentations, correspondences, and memos as needed.
- Monitors program budgets and assures appropriate expenditure of funds with detailed record keeping.
- Provides key input to TSG strategic and operational plans. This includes, but is not limited to, the multi-year vision and growth plan for TSG.
- Develops and shares key insights through the provision of daily, weekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly and annual reporting to management as needed. Utilize PHS tools to assist in monitoring and reporting progress of the TSG lines of business, i.e., PHS scorecard.
- Understands, facilitates, and continuously improves TSG processes within PHS, across business units and departments. Always looking for ways to improve the clients experience.
- Directly supports the marketing of wellness programs and services. Assess needs and provide appropriate time and/or resources to Marketing and Sales staff in order to offer wellness programs and services to their interested employer groups.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ years experience in any of the following areas: health/wellness, health care, human resources/benefits, and or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience with planning and execution of complex events. Consult on and lead large and often complex projects and events.
- Proven project planning and management skills, including the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments, manage time and multiple assignments, meet frequent deadlines, shift priorities, and work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in cross-functional department initiatives.
- Requires statewide travel.
