Due to the timely nature of interlibrary loan workflows, we are seeking individuals with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability. Under direct supervision, Library Assistants work with University Libraries staff and student employees in a team environment to:
This position offers hours Monday - Friday between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Evening and weekend hours are not available. Successful applicants will have the opportunity for progressively independent work and increased responsibility within a collegial team environment. Benefits of this position include: gaining extensive knowledge of and experience with library fulfillment systems; receiving guidance and mentoring from library staff; and developing professional skills such as interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. CULLS student employees are employed on a term basis for the current academic year. Library student employees must be able to deliver books to various locations on campus, shelve books, and perform other physical activities as required.
