SUMMARY: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Supervisor is a clinical and operational leader responsible for the strategic oversight, deployment, and performance of APPs within Surgical Services. This role combines direct patient care with protected administrative time to support workforce planning, operational efficiency, quality improvement, and program development. The APP Supervisor partners closely with physician leadership, nursing, and hospital administration to optimize care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and support surgical volume growth. The APP Supervisor plays a critical role in aligning APP practice with organizational priorities, including throughput, financial performance, and high-reliability care.
