MOTLOW STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE is accepting applications for the following position: EMS Faculty Campus: Moore County Position Summary: Term 12-month Position number: B99573 Salary: $61,755 Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. Motlow positions are contingent upon funding availability and budget approval. General Function: Provide high quality effective instruction in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus; Facilitate student learning, and perform evaluation of student learning for all assigned classes, using each course's standard course outline as a guide; Advise and mentor students about academic and career goals. Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college institution. Currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT. Paramedic, without a history of revocation, denial or suspension of licensure. Pre-Hospital experience Minimum of two (2) years practicing in the pre-hospital environment. Administration experience; Minimum of two (2) years in EMS education administration or greater than three hundred (300) hours of EMS instruction. Currently endorsed in an EMS Board- approved trauma, cardiac, and pediatric course (instructor preferred). Completion of an EMS Board-approved by the application date. Qualifying Fields: EMT-Paramedic Nursing Related Qualifying healthcare field Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience preferred. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
