DAT is looking for aCarrier Risk Coordinator to join our Outgo team in Seattle.

Outgo is a fintech platform built specifically for truckers' needs. We provide a vertical banking solution that combines invoicing, accounting, factoring, and banking in one platform to optimize cash flow and eliminate exorbitant rates, hidden fees, and long contracts. Our mission is to revolutionize money management for trucking companies and help them save money while growing their businesses.

We're looking for an Underwriting Coordinator to join our Risk & Operations team. In this key role, you'll evaluate customer onboarding eligibility, conduct data-driven risk assessments, and support re-underwriting for existing clients. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver risk insights, enhance our underwriting standards, and improve the overall customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who combines analytical rigor with operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do



  • Analyze customer applications and documentation to assess onboarding eligibility
  • Conduct re-underwriting and evaluate risk for clients requesting changes to account permissions
  • Present underwriting findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Identify trends and potential risks across customer segments
  • Apply scoring models and risk frameworks to quantify customer profiles
  • Maintain and update underwriting criteria, databases, and documentation
  • Collaborate with risk, customer success, and operations teams to optimize workflows
  • Support continuous improvement of underwriting processes and quality control


The Skills and Experience You'll Bring



  • 2+ years of experience in underwriting, risk analysis, or a related operational role. Tech or startup background is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment principles and underwriting methodologies
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data analysis tools (experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A self-starter with a collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and seeking process improvements


Washington State (Including Seattle)

For Washington-based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the hourly range for this role is $29.17 - $40.14. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
