As an experienced Quality Analyst you will perform general QA duties and complete daily reporting. Under the direction of business operations, you will create and present training programs to address reoccurring quality issues identified during audits. The QA Inspector is responsible for several projects under various clients and must maintain different standards requirements for multiple Clients.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily on-site quality inspections in varied weather conditions to ensure underground and aerial facilities meet client and industry standards including depth of plant placement accurate location of vaults handholes and pedestals proper installation of ducts fiber optic service closures and maintenance of hydro clearances and limits of approach

  • Provide guidance and support to junior QA inspectors while collaborating with construction team members to track field progress and address quality issues as they arise

  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including deficiency reports online reporting and detailed project records

  • Conduct final field validations of installed infrastructure and As-Built maps prior to client submission

  • Facilitate weekly quality meetings with Operations Managers to review field results and make recommendations for continuous improvement based on quality findings

  • Develop and deliver classroom and in-field training based on identified gaps maintain training attendance records ensure compliance with health and safety requirements including Book 7 traffic control and escalate hazardous conditions while prioritizing repairs

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in telecommunication construction within a fiber-related industry

  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in the field including Book 7 traffic control

  • Working knowledge of fiber optics aerial and civil construction standards including safe limits of approach

  • Experience working as part of a Quality Inspection team with a proven understanding of quality processes and client quality standards

  • Preferred experience in civil construction testing splicing placing residential builds and related field activities

  • Demonstrated background in field-based health and safety with experience identifying escalating and addressing hazardous situations

Work Conditions:

  • This role is primarily field-based, requiring regular visits to active construction sites

  • You will work in environments that involve changing weather conditions and typical construction-site activity

  • Occasional travel to various project locations between Washington and Montana may be required

Compensation

$62, 400 - $85,800 USD Annual

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
