About the Job

About the Job:
This position is for an intern with the Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium or mobile ECMO program of the Center for Resuscitation Medicine (CRM). Position is hourly with approx. 0.9 FTE with flexible work schedule and location to be determined with candidate.

Temporary term: April TBD to August 27, 2026

Clinical Operations (80%)
1. Provides administrative support to the daily operations of SPEEDY and MMRC.
2. Assists with SPEEDY documentation.
3. Maintain regulatory and/or standard operating procedures as needed.
4. Participates with new staff orientation, and compliance with certifications, skills, and program needs.
5. Responds with team to assist with documentation, equipment, and patient movement.
6. Assists team with equipment restocking and management.

Clinical and Research Outreach (20%)
1. Assists with letters, reports, power point presentations, and media for communication to partners, public, and University.
2. Assists with resuscitation education opportunities for public awareness, first responders, EMS, and other healthcare providers.
3. Assists with community outreach groups in translation of current resuscitation research to public.
4. Works with ECMO specialist on 4A at Fairview to expand ECMO care knowledge.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED Minimum
* Current enrollment in post-secondary education with Medical Career goals
* Experience in pre-hospital clinical care
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with faculty and staff,
* Demonstrated experience and organization of general and day-to-day office processes with the ability to work independently and multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree with enrollment in advanced degree program
* Experience with pre-hospital education (fire, EMS, first responder)
* Experience in an academic, public safety, or medical environment
* Demonstrated ability to work with and adapt to new technologies and processes without significant direction

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: The starting range is $15.25 to 19.00, depending on education/qualifications/experience.

This is a temporary position running from April to end of August.
