About us

To manage large-scale programs delivering business change and benefits to a specific business function utilizing a range of assigned resources.

  • Directs, monitors and reviews all program activities, including program costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, program resources and program risks supported by comprehensive reporting.
  • Ensures that the program implements changes which achieve the objectives that have been set and that the business benefits are realized.
  • Guides senior business stakeholders to solutions that maximize National Grid investments in technology and influences their direction towards re-usable solutions.
  • Manages program change, through regular reassessment of program priorities, resolving conflicts.
  • Lead the setting and monitoring of all strategic business priorities and objectives on behalf of the senior management team.
  • Influence and shape the development and delivery of a Project Management or Project Management Office capability in order to drive a consistent project management across all projects, enabling an integrated program plan and reporting into the Management Board.
  • Ensure program management quality assurance is undertaken across all projects, including adherence to investment guidelines.
  • Lead and manage change control, program governance, assumption management, risk and issue identification and management.
