SUMMARY: WR Government Business Solutions is seeking a Technician to support field setup and installation of Mobile Over-The-Horizon Radar systems. This role will involve hands-on work including ground screen layout and brazing, radial wire placement, monopole antenna assembly, and securing systems using guy wires. The position will also support testing activities using various equipment to measure coaxial cable performance and RF signals.


Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Under close supervision, set up standard test apparatus or assist in developing test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and live testing
  • Support evaluation of prototype and production model performance and reliability
  • Perform mechanical assembly, installation, and integration of equipment
  • Assist with field setup, installation, and basic troubleshooting of radar systems
  • Utilize test equipment to collect and interpret basic RF and cable measurement data



Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Zero (0) + years of experience performing work in support of production, integration, installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electronic systems or equipment.
  • Ability and aptitude to use hand tools and basic test equipment
  • Ability to learn and interpret test equipment readouts with training and oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • Ability to work in a field environment and travel as required
