DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Under the supervision of the Highway Equipment Manager 2, the Clerical Assistant 2 performs a range of office and specialized clerical tasks for the County Maintenance Office, supporting the Clerical Supervisor, County Equipment Manager, Mechanic Supervisors, and garage personnel with administrative functions related to front office operations, equipment maintenance, and garage activities.
Specific duties of this position include:

Serves as the primary County Training Liaison, managing equipment and non-equipment trainings, entering certifications into Success Factors, creating and managing classes, following up with participants, communicating training information, running reports, and updating the county training matrix; coordinates with the District Training Coordinator. -
Acts as the primary County Travel Arranger by making travel arrangements, reviewing and completing reimbursement requests in SAP Concur, and responding to related inquiries. -
Completes payroll tasks for garage employees, including entering timecards in SAP Plant Maintenance, posting payroll hours, tracking and reporting overtime equalization, serving as backup timekeeper, uploading payroll, troubleshooting errors with supervisors, and making corrections in ZIPY.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday thru Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
