Summary of Position:	Assist with precision driving course as instructed by academy faculty. Will assist with training maneuvers for Law Enforcement Academy recruits. The start date of this position is July 13, 2026

Required Education:	Certified Police Officer
Required Work Experience:	Minimum of five years of police experience in the United States. Minimum of two years as a driving instructor at a police academy or an in-service training class.
Required Licenses and Certifications:	Must have completed a recognized Police Precision Instructor Driving Program. Must have a valid United States Driver's License.
Physical Demands:	Inclement Weather Moving Driving Standing
Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:	Assist with the precision driving course as instructed by the Criminal Justice Faculty. Will assist with training maneuvers for Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Academy Students. Cultivate an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically. Operates a university or personal vehicle safely while carrying out job responsibilities. Will authorize, pursuant to university policies and procedures, a driving record check, and will meet the driving authorization requirements through the course of employment in a position where you are authorized to drive a vehicle as part of our duties. Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
