Responsibilities: Presbyterian is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist. Each day you'll prepare stateoftheart ultrasound equipment, uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety, and guide patients through their daytime sonography examinations with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. You'll review patient medical history, confirm medical necessity, identify contraindications, and use expert patient positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques to deliver exceptional imaging quality while protecting your own longterm health. Your independent clinical judgment will shine as you perform comprehensive diagnostic medical sonography, capture accurate anatomical and pathological details, obtain additional imaging when needed, document limitations, and prepare preliminary findings that directly support patient care.
