This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project schedules in alignment with the NASA Schedule Management Handbook. This role supports projects of varying size and complexity by ensuring schedule accuracy, integrity, and visibility across the program lifecycle. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
- Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Project.
- Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
- Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: - 17+ years of experience
- Prior NASA/Aerospace experience
- Experience using software like Acumen Fuse, Milestones Professional, Onepager Professional, and Sharepoint is desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven project schedules that comply with NASA Schedule Management Handbook standards.
- Create proposal schedules, full project life cycle schedules, and closeout schedules to support program planning and execution.
- Integrate multiple project schedules to enable cross-project resource analysis and inform decision-making.
- Perform routine schedule health assessments, generate performance metrics, and conduct trend analysis on a weekly to monthly basis.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with technical points of contact to plan tasks and milestones, gather status updates, and present schedule progress.
- Prepare and deliver schedule status packages, including summary reports, milestone updates, and critical path assessments.
- Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule workarounds and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Perform recurring schedule risk assessments, including uncertainty and sensitivity analyses.
- Integrate contractor and contributor schedules into comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Provide expert scheduling guidance in response to rapidly evolving programmatic requirements.
- Support optimization of project schedules and resource allocations to improve overall program performance.
