Data Engineering Intern

• Assist with data collection, cleansing, and transformation for structured and semistructured data.

• Develop data visualizations in Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture artifacts, such as documenting sourcetotarget mappings, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
• Participate in version control workflows (commits, branching, pull requests) using Gitbased tools.
• Draft and maintain documentation of data sources, pipeline steps, and visualization methodologies to support continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing data engineering and analytics initiatives.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Academic exposure to Python, SQL, and introductory ETL or data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, including concepts such as data storage, compute, networking basics, managed identities, or Azurebased ETL tooling (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
• Familiarity with cloud architectures or diagramming tools used for modeling enterprise systems.

• Experience using Git, GitLab, or GitHub for version control, including branching, merge requests, and basic CI/CD concepts. Supported internally via Azurehosted GitLab environments.

• Basic understanding of ETL pipelines and data lineage.
• Familiarity with SQL optimization concepts or NoSQL systems.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, or APIs.
