We're seeking a Product Specialist to support our Smart Power product management team within our Data Solutions business, turning product and market data into insights that inform business decisions. You'll partner closely with product, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure products are accurately enabled and gotomarket plans are ready to scale. This is a handson role for someone who enjoys combining product knowledge, analysis, and execution to move complex portfolios forward. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Support product line strategies, roadmaps, and technology plans for data center and networking products through tactical execution, including product data maintenance, system updates, analysis, and project coordination.
- Contribute ideas and analytical input to product strategy by supporting evaluation of new product and feature concepts, opportunity sizing, revenue potential assessment, and cost analysis, in close partnership with Product Management.
- Deliver assigned product initiatives by developing analytical inputs such as quantified value propositions, competitive comparisons, and customer usecase analysis.
- Support voiceofthecustomer (VOC) efforts by gathering, synthesizing, and documenting customer and market insights that inform product plans and future opportunities.
- Support product launches and gotomarket readiness by maintaining accurate product, pricing, and configuration data; coordinating inputs for SIOP and pricing alignment; and ensuring products are enabled across internal systems and customerfacing tools.
- Partner with marketing communications to complete product materials, including catalogs, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, and instruction sheets.
- Serve as a product and technical subjectmatter resource for assigned products, supporting internal teams, field sales, channel partners, and customers with product knowledge and application guidance.
- Assess and improve productrelated workflows, supporting changes that increase efficiency, data accuracy, and overall customer experience.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in product support, product operations, marketing, sales, or related roles. Experience with data center infrastructure and/or IT networking equipment is preferred.
- Experience working with product data, pricing data, or enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, PLM, CRM), or a demonstrated ability to manage detailed product information accurately preferred.
- Electrical and/or mechanical systems aptitude gained through handson experience, manufacturing exposure, or close collaboration with engineering teams preferred.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and meet committed timelines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to perform data analysis across product portfolios, pricing structures, and demand trends, enabling informed decisionmaking and improved product execution.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for meetings with customers, suppliers, and/or partners.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $76,000.00 - $141,100.00
