Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set Enterprise Notebook Portfolio Strategy, including scope, segmentation, and differentiation and multi-generational roadmap for $10B+ Enterprise Notebook Portfolio
  • Run the Annual Portfolio Gate Process for Sr. Executive Approval
  • Drive customer and user research in collaboration with UX research team and translate insights into portfolio requirements
  • Lead Key Cross-Portfolio Initiatives that improve customer experience and portfolio consistency as well as develop and present recommendations, trade-offs, and risks for executive level decision-making
  • Act as Portfolio Lead for subsystem planning in collaboration with subsystem focal and component suppliers to drive commercial requirements into long-term technology roadmaps
  • Manage Commercial Offering Portfolio Planning (OPP) weekly BMS, acting as the orchestrator for portfolio-level decision making and executive awareness including cross-functional efforts across Notebook, Desktop, Accessory, and Solutions
  • Serve as portfolio focal for development operations on resource planning and prioritization as well as cross team coordination and alignment with Geo product management, engineering, UX, design, software, quality, procurement, supply chain, finance, sales, marketing teams
  • Partner with adjacent Portfolio planning teams to ensure portfolio alignment and opportunities to work better together including consumer notebook, SMB, NECPC, docking, desktop, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of product marketing / product management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a global and multicultural team environment and possess the skills to act as a key leader on the Portfolio Team. This individual must be passionate about products and technology, possess strong written and oral communications skills, be a creative yet detail-oriented thinker, and be able to thrive in a diverse team environment.

  • Experience in PC, Mobile, or Smart Device industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to think strategically and have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
  • Flexibility to travel as needed (up to 10%)
  • Fluent in English
