The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Department of Surgery is looking for Short Term Casual (Non-Student). Incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision.

Responsibilities



  • Assist with coordinating day to day office functions.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Creating schedules.
  • Maintain records of results.
  • Answer Phones.
  • Collect/Submit Records for Internal Review.
  • Support other job functions as needed.


Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education:



  • High School graduate or equivalency certificate, technical training or equivalency, and some related laboratory experience, usually six months.

Minimum related experience:



  • 6 months of related experience.


Other Requirements

Qualifications for Candidates include but are not limited to the following:



  • Familiarity with clinical trial workflow and general medical terminology
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-through of assigned projects
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
  • Ability understand and adhere to compliance policies
  • Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and faculty
