Our lab focuses on understanding the cell biology of morphogenesis as it relates to structural birth defects, and we employ the tools of mouse genetics, developmental biology, genomics, and human stem cell biology. The candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing work in these areas, with specific duties including mouse genetics, husbandry and genotyping, human pluripotent stem cell culture, and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing techniques. The position represents an opportunity to be at the cutting edge of birth defects research in a highly collaborative scientific environment. An exceptional candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills. Additionally, the specialist will be expected to assist with managing day-to-day lab operations, perform general lab duties, and act as a supportive and positive lab citizen. Required Qualifications:

Depending on performance and workload, opportunities for independent research, mentorship of other trainees, and scientific writing will be available.
